How to tackle a Netsuite website SEO project:
Ideally, all SEO efforts should be geared towards increasing your bottom line.
In other words, before implementing an SEO strategy, make sure the end goal is an increase in transactions and revenue.
How do you do that?
It's actually fairly straightforward. All you need to do is identify a set of keywords you'd like to rank on the first page of Google, then build a forecast that clearly outlines the types of results you'll achieve once you get there.
Doing this will give you a fairly precise idea of what the potential ROI will look like, and how much effort, budget, and time you'll need to get there.
The starting point, which is of utmost importance, will be to clearly define your target keywords (search terms).
Make sure you're using keywords that:
1 - target the correct type of audience (potential customers),
2 - and have the highest potential to drive in more traffic & sales.
Once you're 100% sure you've selected the right keywords, it's time to plan the SEO forecast & strategy, then get into the meat & potatoes of SEO. It's time to rank those keywords on page 1 in the search engines!
Easier said than done obviously :)
