First piece of advice:

I know this may sound counter-intuitive coming from an SEO specialist, but don't focus on the search engines. Instead, focus on your audience. Focus on the shoppers looking to purchase the products you offer.

A stellar shopping experience will not only improve your store's conversion rate, it'll also produce a better ROI on all your marketing efforts. As a result, you'll have a healthier budget to allocate to all your marketing initiatives, including SEO.

Second piece of advice:

Make sure your category pages (PLPs) and product pages (PDPs) are are optimally crawlable and indexable. These are your core shopping pages and need to be as easy as possible for search engine robots to find and load.

At the same time, it's crucial to make sure non of these ecommerce pages (PLPs and PDPs) are bringing your site's quality down, both from a UX and SEO standpoint.
